Kingsgrove North High School Mandarin students successful performed at The Sydney Chinese Language Spectacular 2017 held in the Sydney Town Hall on Monday 23 October. This was a special concert, jointly produced by the Confucius Institute at UNSW and the Chinese Language Association of NSW. Showcasing the many talents of NSW students, the Chinese Language Spectacular has now established itself as one of the most prominent Chinese and language events of the year since 2014.
More than 800 students from 40 schools took to the stage performing to an audience of 2,000 spectators, including over 200 distinguished guests from education, politics and business sectors. Our Kingsgrove North High School students performed two dance items, including ‘passion petal' and ‘click go the shears'.
One of our students also performed as part of the amassed schools choir. With special thanks to Liya Dai and Tong Baker who organised and rehearsed with students for the big performance.
